Women in Science: Ancient History to the 21st Century

The question of a woman’s place in science is not a new one; compared to their male counterparts, female scientists were paid less, denied access to higher education and did not receive accolades for their work, despite making significant contributions to their field.

Although great progress has been made in the modern era, it is important to remember those that fought against sexual discrimination and carved a path for future generations of female scientists. In this infographic, we celebrate these women and their scientific accomplishments.
